Harvesting of plant-lets and transplanting
This step as every step is very important as it determines the time taken for the plant to bunch. The less stressed the faster they adapt and the faster they grow however the reverse is true. Therefore, much diligence must be given to this stage.
The processes of this stage include;
- soil compounding,
- segregating vibrant plant-lets (with at least two leaves) from their parent X-plant
- And transplant into soil contained poly bags.
These plant-lets are therefore irrigated at least once daily to avoid wilting from desiccation for an average of 4 weeks (to enable proper adaptation).
